growth and service improvement of the society we live in. The
implementation and management of Intelligent Transport Systems
(ITS), of intelligent infrastructures and vehicles, of InfoMobility

Thanks to its systematic participation in international research

Responsive Public Transport Services' (Demand Responsive
Transport, DRT). An innovative service pattern for public transport
which, contrary to the traditional line service, the trips are
not priorly influenced by timetables and routes to follow,
in that they are determined in a fully dynamic way by the users'
request.
Managed through the
PersonalBus®
software system, this pattern is an excellent solution for low
demand areas (rural and mountain districts) as well as for the
creation of variable or complementary transport services or
intended as links with traditional transport, or even for services
specifically conceived for given groups of users (students,
handicapped and elderly people).
- Terminals for in-vehicle applications as well as
goods or special flexible transport. Driver support through
graphic display and maps, Global Positional System (GPS), communication
(via GSM or private radio network) with monitoring headquarters
and service management.
- Platforms for integrated management of information and control
strategies in traffic network supervision and control. Servers
for integrated management of control strategies (Integrated
Strategy Manager, ISM). Communication and information exchange
with information management nodes (TIC, Traffic Information
Center) through interfaces and standard protocols (DATEX). Supervision
